Clementia is a bright and determined nine-year-old girl with dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up. Clementia lives with her parents and seven siblings.

Life for Clementia’s family is incredibly challenging. Her father earns a small income producing charcoal, which is not enough to provide three square meals a day for the family, let alone cover Clementia’s basic school needs.

Despite these hardships, Clementia is determined to achieve her dream of becoming a nurse. Her enthusiasm for learning shines through in class, especially when she is encouraged and feels supported. Clementia’s favorite food is Tuozafi (TZ) with fresh okro soup, and her favorite color is white, reflecting her bright hopes for the future.
