Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

We are grateful for your support of Bread of Life International’s mission to transform the lives of children in need. To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, please review the following terms and conditions for our sponsorship program.

Payment & Renewal

• Payment Options:
  You may pay for your sponsorship online by credit card or by sending a check or money order to:

• Renewal Notification:
  Bread of Life International (BoL) will notify you in advance when it is time to renew your sponsorship, unless you have chosen a recurring payment option.

• Overdue Accounts:
  If BoL does not receive your renewal payment by the due date, you will receive a notification email informing you that your account is overdue.
• Grace Period:
  A two-month grace period will be provided for overdue accounts. After this period, if payment is still not received, your sponsorship will be considered terminated, and the sponsored child will be returned to unsponsored status. At this point, the child will be posted on the BoL website to find a new sponsor. While you are welcome to sponsor again at any time, BoL cannot guarantee that the original child you sponsored will still be available.

Assignment of Sponsored Children

• Online Sponsorship Selection:
  If you are paying online, you may select a child to sponsor through our website.

• Offline Sponsorship Assignment:
  If you are paying offline (e.g., by check or money order), you may request BoL to assign a child to you based on your specifications, such as gender, location, or age. While we will do our best to match you with a child that fits your preferences, we cannot guarantee availability. Please also note that setting up your sponsorship account may take 3 to 4 weeks once your application and payment are received.

• Changes to Sponsored Children:
  Due to the challenges faced in the communities we serve, changes to your sponsored child may occasionally occur. For example:
  • Families may relocate outside of BoL’s support area due to family or economic commitments.
  • Families may attain a level of income that allows them to become self-sufficient and no longer require aid.
  • In these cases, BoL will assign you a new child whose family is experiencing more urgent economic hardship.

If a change is necessary, BoL will notify you promptly via email and work with you to find a new child to sponsor.

Terminating Your Sponsorship

• Long-Term Commitment:
  We encourage sponsors to support the same child throughout the course of their education for as long as possible. Consistent support ensures the child’s education is uninterrupted and fosters a meaningful relationship between the sponsor and the child.

• Minimum Sponsorship Commitment:
  To ensure stable support for the children, we require a minimum sponsorship commitment of 12 months. Sponsorship cannot be terminated before this time period.
• Termination Process:
  If, at any point, you decide to discontinue your sponsorship, we kindly ask for a minimum of 3 months’ advance notice. This allows us to make arrangements to ensure continued support for the child. To terminate your sponsorship, please contact BoL via email at [insert contact email].
